Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer
As of 7/1/2025

1. Session Cancellations

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time will result in the session being charged in full.

  • One-Time Waiver: Each client is allowed one late cancellation waiver per package, where a missed or late cancellation will not be charged.

2. Package Refunds (Multi-Session Options)

  • If you cancel before starting any sessions in a package, you are eligible for a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee.

  • If you cancel after using one or more sessions, the refund will be calculated as follows:

Refund = (Original Package Price) – (Standard Price of Sessions Completed) – (10% Administrative Fee on Remaining Balance)

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval.

3. Completed Sessions

Sessions that have already been completed are non-refundable.

4. Provider Cancellations

If Top Student must cancel a session, clients will be offered either:

  • A rescheduled session at no additional cost, or

  • A full refund for the value of the missed session.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation, email pat@topstudentcounseling.com with the following:

  • Client name

  • Package type

  • Reason for request

We aim to respond within 3 business days.
